Heart isn't in it.
I have just decided, again, that my heart really isn't in accounting. I can do it, but it is not thrilling to me. I want to do something with my health, GF, gardening, and cooking interests, i've gotta see if I can re-write my resume to reflect this. Of course it's hard to abandon the BS in Accounting up front and center...

accounting is a great backbone to have for starting your own business, even if it's not your passion you obviously understand it enough to get a degree - that's awesome! i'd be happy to provide resume feedback if you know what you want to shape it to look like. check this out - a great way to combine skills and passion:
