The lecturer informed you correctly about the manure. I used come that has been composting in the woods at dear friends of ours for 10 years. They have been emptying the "gifts" from their horse stalls in that area for over 10 years. It's already broken down and is a rich, black beautiful fertilizer to use. I also have my own compost pile and I throw a cuple of shovel fulls in it often. Works like a charm.
